	Open Optimus RP post Hey, I don't really play Optimus in any games at the moment, but that doesn't mean I want to stop playing him! So bring your characters, give me a situation, and I'll be happy to roleplay the big guy with you!

[Starscream hears the remark before he fully glances up at Optimus.]

... And I thought I was the one who had the scrambled circuits how could you possibly not know -- wait there's something different about you.

[But he shrugs off that second thought and goes to stand up despite the weapon aimed at him. It's not like he's going to attempt to attack Optimus Prime while he's full and alert to his presence (he's not stupid.)]

Not that I care, being the evil Decepticon and all. But really? Starscream ring any bells? Terrible, powerful, and simply completely outstanding Lieutenant of the Decepticons?

[Something different is right, although Optimus isn't sure if that should be about the seeker before him or not. He's certainly a different make, one he's not familiar with. And the voice doesn't match up to any signatures he knows of. But he seems to know him. Nothing too out of the ordinary, he wasn't exactly under the radar when it came to Decepticon forces.

That blaster never moves it's position, eyes dilating and contracting in thought. He allows the bot to stand up, at least. At this point, it was best to hear him out.

...Until he hears that name.]

I know a Starscream, yet his frame, vocal signature, and...personality do not exactly coincide with yours.

Neither does his reputation.

[Slight sass? Slight sass.]

Now I'm just insulted.

[Starscream huffs and promptly folds his arms. He doesn't seem too bothered by the weapon pointed at him. Though, now that he looked at it ... that seemed off too.]

So what's wrong with you anyway? Did ol' Shocky manage to scramble your mental circuits? And here I was betting on you winning that little rumble. Ah well. It at least explains the new look.

[It was also too bad this wasn't like total amnesia and he could like try and convince Optimus that he was a good guy in disguise. That might have been fun.]

[To which he just stares in reply. Sorry, Starscream, one too many betrayals cause someone to be a little skeptical. Just a bit. Although the fact that he's not outright fighting--and even moreso, treating this like an actual conversation--can't help but cause the Prime's curiosity to be piqued.

...I have not seen Shockwave in some time. Since the war erupted on Cybertron.

[Everyone had presumed he was dead.]

I am afraid I do not understand. If you are truly Starscream, then there is something far more questionable here than we are led to think.

You know, I'm just gonna have to get this out of the way and ask.

[Because this was as very important question. In fact, so important that he takes a step forward.]

... Why do you sound like you've just stepped out of a TV public service announcement?

No, actually that's normal. It's your ... way of speaking that's off. Maybe ...

[He actually turned while he was speaking because he was a little dramatic like that. But not as theatrical as the Starscream this Optimus was used to.

He then suddenly turns back around to point at Prime.]

... How do I know you're not another one of One-Eye's freakish experiments? Another clone? I wouldn't put it past him.

[Optimus's eyes jitter about, as if wracking his brain for any explanation on what Starscream could be talking about. If his vocal signature was the same, then he recognized it. But the -way- he spoke? He'd known no other.

But there's a finger pointed at him now, and although he doesn't react physically to it, he's surprised by how much this -does- remind him of Starscream.

His Starscream.]

Shockwave has ceased to be.


[At least, at his current point in time.]

I'd say too bad but it's more like I'm sorry I missed that.

[Well, he knew he wouldn't be able to intimidate Optimus, but he wasn't exactly trying to. Not yet. He needed a much bigger gun for that.]

But as much as I'd love to chat about the one-eyed purple people eater's untimely demise, I have evil take over plots to scheme.

[And to find his way back to the Decepticon base and figure out what happened.]

[It's fairly unsurprising, to hear you say you aren't mourning Shockwave's loss. He's going to keel over and die from not surprise.]

You will do no such thing, Starscream.

[As odd as that sounded to say. But that's what this one went by, 'fake' or not.]

You will accompany me.

[He was afraid it'd go that way. Of course he runs into the Autobot leader who is going to act like an Autobot leader and take him in or something.]

I'd rather not. I've had enough of playing with the Autobots for awhile.

[He may not make any sudden movements while he is talking, but he's totally contemplating his plan of escape.]

[Sorry Starscream, this just really isn't your week. Or day. Or month. His gun lowers slightly, eyes narrowing further. As strange as it was, Starscream's personality was matching up almost perfectly to the one he knew. Give or take the mannerisms.

But if his vocal signature was slightly different, it would be a convincing double.]

I am afraid you are too much of a staple to the Decepticon cause to be simply let go.

[Why couldn't he have almost crashed into one of the smaller Autobots that he could just flick away?]

Oh come on. Can't you wait until I at least ... I don't know ... blow something up before you try and take me prisoner? Unless crashing into the ground has suddenly become a crime.

[Lets just forget about the whole war thing.]
